Resilience & Recovery: Gratitude, Grace and Mindfulness in Practicing the Twelve Steps

Diane will be speaking on how we can integrate gratitude, grace and mindfulness in the practice on the Twelve Steps. Drawing from both new research and ancient practices to share ways that you can refresh your experience of the Twelve Steps.
Women and Men–members of all Twelve Step programs are welcome to participate, and deepen their resilience at every stage of recovery.

Writing for Caregivers

Diane Cameron is a writer, author, blogger and writing teacher–AND a fierce advocate for family caregivers.
In this one evening class we’ll explore writing as a tool for caregivers–for stress relief, as a tool to work with those we care for, how to capture stories, and to express yourself creatively and therapeutically.
Resilience and Mindfulness for Professional Caregivers

Professional caregivers give their energy, time, attention and compassion all day long. In this workshop we’ll learn new ways to increase self-care without making our long days longer. Diane will lead the team thru both ancient and very modern techniques to increase resilience and mindfulness, humor and compassion. The day will be interactive and includes an optional Kripalu yoga class.
Local Author Day--Never Leave Your Dead
