Writing for Caregivers

Diane Cameron is a writer, author, blogger and writing teacher–AND a fierce advocate for family caregivers.

In this one evening class we’ll explore writing as a tool for caregivers–for stress relief, as a tool to work with those we care for, how to capture stories, and to express yourself creatively and therapeutically.

Resilience and Mindfulness for Professional Caregivers

Professional caregivers give their energy, time, attention and compassion all day long. In this workshop we’ll learn new ways to increase self-care without making our long days longer. Diane will lead the team thru both ancient and very modern techniques to increase resilience and mindfulness, humor and compassion. The day will be interactive and includes an optional Kripalu yoga class.

Meet Your Local Authors Day--Never Leave Your Dead

Date/Time: October 13, 2018 at 1pm to 4pm

Diane Cameron will join a group of local authors sharing new books, writing information, readings and book sales. Diane will share her newest book, “Never Leave Your Dead”–a memoir and history of military trauma.

Embracing the Dark Night of the Soul

Location: Albany Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

As the new year begins, and we look around our lives to ask, “What’s next?” we are welcoming the inevitable invitation to take some risks.
