Taking Recovery to Work

Work is where we spend most of our waking hours and where many of us experience our greatest stress. In this weekend retreat you will transform your relationship to work using the principles of Twelve- step recovery . You’ll laugh, play, share, learn and make a plan to achieve your dreams. You can change your work/career/business/retirement life.

Andrea Jarrell and Diane Cameron --Great Books and Great Conversation

Andrea Jarrell, author of “I’m the One That Got Away”, and Diane Cameron, author of, “Out of the Woods” will read from their books and share a conversation about all the things that women talk about–sometimes in whispers: marriage, children, parents, addiction and recovery–and how to make a great life out a life with challenges.

Spiritual Breakfast for People in Recovery

HMB Region–Amsterdam, New York hosts the annual spiritual breakfast focusing on The Promises. This year’s keynote speaker is: Diane Cameron–author of “Out of the Woods–A Woman’s Guide to Long-term Recovery.

Resilience & Recovery: Gratitude, Grace and Mindfulness in Practicing the Twelve Steps

Date/Time: January 7, 2018 at 1:30pm to 4:30pm

Location: Dominican Retreat and Conference Center, Niskayuna, New York

Diane will be speaking on how we can integrate gratitude, grace and mindfulness in the practice on the Twelve Steps. Drawing from both new research and ancient practices to share ways that you can refresh your experience of the Twelve Steps.

Women and Men–members of all Twelve Step programs are welcome to participate, and deepen their resilience at every stage of recovery.
